Top 5 Christmas Movies
With the Christmas season quickly approaching, there are many things I look forward to doing during this special time of the year. One of these things is watching some good Christmas movies. If you’re like me though, you can’t start celebrating too early or you’ll ruin Christmas because by the time it gets here, you’ll already be tired of watching the movies or listening to the music or what not. This is why I typically try to wait until after Thanksgiving to pull out the Christmas music, movies and everything else. But since Thanksgiving is next week, I’m already preparing for my Christmas playlists, first movies to watch and so on.
Here’s my top 5 Christmas movies that you have to watch at least once every Christmas…
- Elf (best Christmas movie, hands-down)
- Christmas Vacation (maybe a little “tacky” but hilarious)
- The Santa Clause (with Tim Allen)
- The Christmas Story (“you’ll shoot your eye out, kid!”)
- How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Old school cartoon version)

I think there’s probably a lot that I could say. After living as myself for about twenty one years, you get to know yourself. However, I’ll stick to the basics…
I’m a full-time student at Atlanta Christian College studying Biblical Studies with a minor in Student Ministry. I like music a lot. I play guitar at different churches, shows and events as a contract musician and play with a few bands (see my Links page).
I’d like a XXX Vitamin Water or Dr. Pepper to drink, or maybe a sweet tea (I mean…I am from the South). I’m a Mac guy and will always be. Organization is vital to most of anything that I do and I thoroughly enjoy making lists (especially if it’s on a 3×5 notecard or a Post-It). I live off my iPhone now…it’s wherever I am. I like to read many books, especially stuff from C.S. Lewis, John Piper, and Andy Stanley (Nerd? I think not…).
I am on the MySpace world as well as Facebook, but I’m on Twitter a whole lot now too.

I totally agree with you staring early wears me out but I did watch a Christmas movie today. I was surprised it was on Disney Channel so early before Thanksgiving and its one from your list. I loved it. I remember growing up we didn’t see any Christmas decorations or movies before thanksgiving. It was unheard of. Look at us now!
We elfs must follow a strict diet that obtains all of our major food groups. Candy…..candy canes……candy coooorrrrns…..and syrup
I agree. Elf is definitely a great movie! I also love the movies A Muppet Christmas Carol and Scrooged with Bill Murray. Both of them are great if you like Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol.
