Big Week: Ending or Beginning?

So I made it through the hardest test and final I’ve ever taken. What I made is still up in the air, but I am just glad to have it done. Thank you, Dr Hooks, for making those 15 hours straight of studying awesome. But I really did bring a lot of that on myself. Moral of the story: start studying weeks before when you know you’re going to have a final like that.

After finishing my last final yesterday, I went over to FBC Woodstock. After playing there almost every Wednesday since October 2006, our time there has come to a close. For the last night, I decided that we’d bring back the original guys (minus Chris Coleman who had another rehearsal to be at) of Six Piece Suit who had played there for so long. We have had an unbelievable time leading students in worship there for almost 2 1/2 years. There are so many great students over there and we love Matt Lawson, the student pastor. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of Six Piece Suit and us (whether Six Piece, Chris Coleman Band, or anything in between) leading at FBCW.

So now that I’ve finished up school for the semester, what will I be doing with my break? Well, between now and Christmas day, I will be very busy attending multiple Christmas parties, family events, Christmas dates (don’t worry, only with Hannah), doing some shopping and playing at churches. When I finally get my break on Christmas day, it will be a good one.

So this week has been a big one: I took the hardest test ever, ended playing at the place I got my big start playing worship music, and got really busy getting ready for and enjoying Christmas. So is this week ending? Or it beginning? I’d say I’m right in the middle of it…
