Last year, I posted about my prediction that David Cook would win American Idol. I haven’t really gotten into Idol, until last year and I watch it when I can, but I still like to hear the contestants and see how they progress. Now that we have the top ten for this year , I can’t make any predictions about who will win. I have a few that I would like to win, but it’s a toss up between a few key guys.

• Kris Allen – Hannah loves this guy so much that she voted for him 35 times the other night. I really like him a lot too and he’s got a great pure voice, with a lot of versatility.
• Danny Gokey – Danny has a great voice, similar to Cook from last season in a lot of ways. But more versatile in his voice. And he can break it down…
• Adam Lambert – His voice just doesn’t fit his look. But he’s got a great voice and could go all the way…
• Matt Giraud – He reminds me a lot of JT, and has a great voice. Definitely a very talented guy.

I can narrow it down some, but know that these are my predictions.

I personally don’t think that Giraud stands out enough and although a few of the judges thought he did the best this past week, I’m just not sure if he’ll be able to go all the way.

I’m not sure if Adam Lambert appeals to as many people and seemed to freak America out a little this last week.

Gokey’s got some moves, and comes out with a lot of energy and works the crowd well.

I could say the same thing about Kris Allen not standing out very much too, but I like Kris’ voice a lot.

I think it’ll be between Allen and Gokey. The prediction of Kris Allen might be pretty bold, but we’ll just have to see how it unfolds.
