Ok, so I’ve been a little carried away lately. But who hasn’t? Here’s what I’ve been doing:
- We got a new Boston Terrier puppy. Second try has been successful so far as we’ve had her almost a month and no serious issues yet. She’s so sweet and her name is Bigsby again (Bigsby II). She’s kept us busy though.
- Christmas and all the parties and family events surrounding it.
- Settling back after Christmas and getting ready for Passion 2010.
- New Years and friends coming into town for Passion 2010.
- Passion 2010.
So finally the holidays have slowed down and I’m able to blog again. Here are a few things on my mind right now:
- To all my friends who wanted to grab dinner at Passion 2010 like we talked about, I’m sorry that it did not happen. We’ll have to try it another time. If you’re local and interested in getting lunch still, I’ll have to work out another time. Just let me know if you’re interested.
- Oh yeah, I finished college. That was cool. No graduation until May, but who cares when you don’t have to go to class.
- Chris Orr Band will start hitting the road again next weekend and I look forward to traveling again.
- I have to start looking for a part-time job for during the week, then start looking for a full-time job for the fall (if not before).
- If you haven’t gathered from reading this so far, my life is really up in the air right now. It’s pretty confusing but God is teaching me a lot.
- Passion 2010 was great. It could not have been better. I’m blessed to be a part of the movement stirring.
- I got almost $100 in gift cards to iTunes for Christmas and will be posting some thoughts of them.
Lastly, thanks for being a part of my life through the website. It’s easy for people to read this and want to think all I am is a dude who likes to talk about guitar gear. Although that is a part of me, it is only a small part and I’m glad that I can make this a resource for guitar players, but also make friends along the way who will read about my life and let me talk about more than just guitar stuff. Thank you for reading and contributing.
Here’s to 2010: a new year and a new decade.
