  1. Which one (or 2, 3, 4) of the parameters are your changing on your 2nd tube echo preset on the DL4? I’ve had a lot of difficulty dialing in a good tube echo sound…so I’ve only stuck to using the Lo Res & Swell delay.

  2. Nathan, cool use of the effects. I really liked that RV-5 sound for the “spacey-ness”. I know you said that volume was an issue, but it would have been cool to hear how you use/stack some of the overdrives, too. And, did you have that serrano boost on at all? Great tone, even with all those pedals chained together.

    • i’ll try to do that sometime…i didn’t have it on in that video but leave it on most of the time. i might start trying to use it to accommodate the difference in tone between the starplayer and the tele.

  3. I’m thinking of moving my MicroPOG in my chain. Currently, its pre-overdrive pedals. I noticed that yours is after. Have you tried both combinations enough to tell if there’s any difference? I only have mine out in front because that’s how Alex runs his Whammy pedal on his board. Thanks!

    • you’re technically supposed to run an octave pedal out front before drives, so it’s less harsh with the octave up stuff. i’ve ran mine both ways and although I really don’t hear a big difference, i still prefer up front before drives.

  4. Hey great stuff! I am fairly new to using pedals. What is the best way to power all your pedals once you start creating a large board such as yours?

    • i prefer a voodoo lab pedal power 2+ or a juicebox, depending on what you’re doing. research it and see what you’re looking to do. unless you’re doing a lot of pedals with high voltages, i’d just go with the pp2+…

      • i got one a month ago and the modulation is amazing. but its all to easy for me to set the effect level to max and a go a little overboard….

by the way im super blessed by all the stuff you do on here! thanks!

  5. Nathan- @5min in the vid you talk about using the swell delay on the dl4, along with just about every other modulation effect on your board :-) I’m having a hard time dialing in the dl-4, with my dd-20 and rv-5 to get the same smooth swell effect. Paul from Remedy Drive showed me the same trick after a show, but I could never get the smooth swell on chord changes from the dl4, so I’ve always been glued to my volume pedal to pull off swells. Any advice on the dl-4? Thanks again man!
